St. Paul, Minnesota, Stucco Project

Refinished stucco on this Mac-Groveland home

This stucco home in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota, increased its living space on the second floor by adding a dormer to the back of the home.  As part of the remodeling process, the homeowners decided to have the stucco on the entire home refinished.  The first portion of the project was the installation of building paper and lath to the new dormer.  We then applied a two-coat stucco base, and also repaired several areas of the existing stucco to prepare the entire home for a new two-coat finish.  We applied the new stucco finish using two different colors: warm gray was used for the brush coat, and bone was used for the texture coat.  The texture was a modified knock-down dash, in order to replicate the original texture on the home.  The homeowners of this St. Paul, MN, home now have a beautiful new stucco exterior to welcome them to their remodeled home!
