St. Paul’s Highland Neighborhood Stucco Project

The homeowner of this St. Paul, MN, home never liked the texture of the stucco on the original home. Her family had lived there for over 30 years, and finally decided to refinish the stucco in order to beautify their home. The original stucco texture consisted of many deep, uneven bumps. There was an addition put on the house many years ago, and the color and texture for the stucco on the addition didn’t quite match the original stucco. We first had to make a few repairs to the existing stucco in order to prepare it for the new stucco finish. We then applied a two-coat trowel texture using the color “Bone” to the entire home and garage. The result was a beautiful new stucco finish to this stately St. Paul stucco home. The new stucco finish was uniform and clean, and replaced the outdated texture with a fresh and updated new look. The homeowners love their new stucco, and will be able to enjoy it for another thirty years!
